The Morning Banana Diet -- ever heard of it or tried it?

This diet turned the Japanese, and later the Western world, nuts after a Japanese celebrity, an opera singer whose name I have forgotten, reported that she lost 15 pounds because of it. The Morning Banana Diet sounds really interesting. You don't have to bother about exercise. Throughout the diet, you have to steer clear of heavy desserts, ice creams, diary foods, and alcoholic beverages. You don't have to make drastic changes in your food habits. You can continue eating what you are eating now. Then what is the diet all about, you might wonder. All you have to do is take a banana/s and lukewarm water for breakfast!! And you will shed weight. Ever tried it? Sounds great!! But I am not gonna try it. As it is, I eat too many bananas. And since I like the shape round, I am not interested in weight shedding and dieting. Just wanted to share it with you!! Cheers and happy mylotting

Hey positiveminded! I've never heard of this diet! Sounds strange! What's with the lukewarm water? I love bananas, but, I just for some reason don't think I want to try this diet either! I've never been one to be able to stick to any kind of diet so I'm sure I wouldn't be able to stick to this one either. I don't eat alot of dairy products, but give up my desserts! Oh, no! If I would stop eating them I would lose the weight and wouldn't need this banana diet!lol

Well, I've never heard about it. That sound interesting, but I'm not bothering my eating habit because I know that I have a good shape and I'll eat what I want to eat.

You're right. I am a banana lover. My day won't be completed with out a banana. Banana diet is really good if you want shedding-off your weight. Its because banana has so many food nutrients that we could say its already a "complete food". But, an exemption to those having a "hyper-acidity" problem because not all kinds of bananas are advisable for them to eat due to some too much acidity of some varities. There maybe one or two varities thats allowable but I just dont know the scientific name of those. Im sorry. So, for those who haven't tried the goodness of the banana on our body, try one and keep it more regularly. For those banana lovers who have plenty of supplies on it, share your blessings to some of our members who haven't tried yet the power of the banana. If you have time guys, try to observe and see for your self those Bicycle Racers a cyclist. Check their back pockets what food they carrying, believe or not, you can see a RIPE BANANA. Why? its because aside from a complete food, the ripe banana could prevent them of having LEG CRAMP.Don't believe me? Ask them for you to say YES....Happy eating banana guys..Ohh one thing more before I forget, Have you seen a monkey having so many PIMPLES and ACNES? Nooooooooo and Neverrrrr because the monkies are BANANA LOVERS, of course I would not say be a monkey guys...so long guys happy eating bananas.

It sure sounds interesting. But i must say that i too am very fond on bananas and have one for breakfast everyday although it's not with warm water. I have not put on or lost weight with it. I though bananas make you put on weight.

Hi! i'm glad i had eaten a couple of banana a while ago. Thanks for sharing that to us. But i guess it really will work because who will be avoiding those yummy foods. So it's no less a credit to banana diet but to your staying away to the overloaded-calorie foods.

I have heard of warm water being taken to shed weight, but bananas...?? Thanks for sharing this. I had never heard this before. I won't try it as I don't have any extra weight to shed! But will surely tell my friends and relatives who are wasting their time looking for ways out there to get slim! Keep posting such informative articles... Happy Mylotting!

Wow. I've never heard of that before. It sounds a little crazy though. I eat bananas almost every morning. But I haven't been losing weight, I haven't been exactly trying, but hey that diet said I wouldn't have to! And warm water? Yuck. I don't like drinking water all that much as it is. I don't want to drink it warm.
