Now that TWILIGHT is showing and the books are out in every bookstore, out of discussion, who is your favorite Vampire and why?
Mine is Sita, the main character of "The Last Vampire" book series of Christopher Pike. She was a 5,000 year old vampire but happened to look like a teenager. The series tackled of her previous life from way back 2130 BCE; her travails and challenges in fighting Yaksha; her love for Rama, and her friendship with Seymore, an HIV afflicted teen-ager.
A lot of twists happen in all six books. I read the series more than twice, I really admire Sita's passion and attitude, just to be with the people she dearly loves.
What about you? Who or what is your favorite vampire?

Although he's called a "White Court Vampire," he's technically an incubus, but Thomas Raith from the Dresden Files books is a pretty awesome, and very well-written character. He even has his own story now, a sort of spin-off of the Dresden Files, a novella called Back Up (which I haven't read because of my strict aversion to hardcover books....especially 72 page hardcover books that cost $14
).

Hi Crimson Ladybug,
I checked out the website and since last night I am reading much of the information about Thomas Raith. Vampire or incubus, it drove me to think that his persona is worth knowing. i'm reading "twilight" book right now and will read till book four. but definitely, this information is worth knowing and the books will be next in line for my reading.
Thank you so much!
