Dry Hair Even Drier in Winter

What a dry day. The humidity is only 305 and when I woke up this morning, I only find that my hair is drier when compared to other days. I am thinking some major hair treatment during the weekend and putting some hair treatment oil for normal days. Can’t believe my hair feels like brittle grass in my hands. Do you notice your hair getting drier during the winter time? Do you do anything special when your hair feels dry to you?

Yes, with the heat on indoors that really dries out the hair even more than arid summer weather. I use Fructis Sleek and Shine shampoo and conditioner and that always softens it up no matter what. I don't wash my hair every day, though, as too much washing dries it out too. A vinegar rinse is good now and then to get rid of some of the build-up from shampoo.

Vinegar rinse! I will remember that! But do I mix it with water?

When I live in a climate that gets cold in winter, I use creme rinse after shampooing my hair. That tended to prevent it from getting too dry. We live in a climate that's mostly warm year round now, so I never have to use creme rinse, and my hair doesn't get dry anymore. Years ago, I'd use those hot oil treatments on my hair about once a month and they were great! My hair was always so soft and shiny after I used them.

I used to have that problem really bad. My hair would get really dry in the winter and I'd do just about everything to it. Since I've change my shampoo 2 years ago though, it's not even staticy any more!

It's call Envia, but you can't buy it in the stores, it's factory-direct only (which keeps the costs down). You should check out my Health Cafe on my profile, it gives you some generic information about it on there. I think I might have some samples of it around her if you'd like me to send you some to try.

We do not have winter in my country... but i feel that my hair is most beautiful when the weather is not that hot... so i always have great looking hair between November and February...
But right now... i think i need to cut my hair short because i always have a lot of falling hair... i am afraid i might go bald if this continues...
