Did you go shopping on Black Friday today?

I braved the stores but I went out late, I waited until 10 before I left the house because I've heard that early mornings can be brutal. I have a story about a friend of mine that actually camped out one thanksgiving to get a big screen television. when the store opened she and her husband ran to the TV's just in time to get the last one. Her husband turned around and was punched in the face. The man that punched him, had also camped out, and claimed he had been there an hour before my friend so he deserved the TV. It turned into a fist fight. While the men were duking it out, she pushed the TV up front and bought it. I'm happy for her, but kind of sorry for the guy that camped out only to get a couple of black eyes for his trouble.

My mother and I went shopping at a Walmart this morning. We were able to get everything on our list which was great. We spent a lot more than we had expected, but I know if we would have bought everything at full price we would have spent a lot more. I actually bought some things online just to save a bit more money. Thank goodness for free shipping.

We did our shopping on Wednesday = great sales and no people out!

I heard the radio announcer talking about Black Friday here in my country and suggesting that they did the same here too. I am glad that you were able to buy the things that you wanted. Yes whenever there is a sale you have to expect long lines and to spent more time. Sometime the things you wanted also finish by the time you reach the stall. take care. Kerri
