Do you have an early learner?

I have a son that turned 4 in August and I was wondering if anyone else out there has a child the same age and what stage they are at in their learning. This is my first child, so I don't really know what age they learn different things at. It just seems like my son is advanced for his age. He has never gone to preschool, he stays with his grandmother while I am at work during the day. He learned his alphabet and numbers by the time he was 2, and he was reciting his alphabet backwards shortly after that. He is very much so into learning new words and loves to sound words out to spell them. Does anyone else have a 4 year old that has started spelling? He always seems to know what the outcome of something will be as well, like if he does something that will in turn be dangerous, he seems to be able to predict these types of things. He has a very good memory as well. Does this sound like your child too? I am very interested in hearing about other 4 year olds, if these things differ between girls and boys, and anything else amazing your 4 year old is capable of! Thanks for reading and happy myLotting!
