Its nearly Christmas and I haven't bought anything for my boyfriend yet. We are both avid readers so I thought it would be great if I'm gonna give him a book for a present. But I'm stumped as to what shall I give him. I'm hoping for recommendations here. Thanks!

I suggest a Barnes and Noble gift card. Then he can pick exactly the book he wants.I give these to my son every year. He can use them online or go to the store. Hope this helps you out.

Gift cards are great, they allow the person to get what they really want. Unless you know what they are interested in.

Sounds great. I think I'm gonna check that out first. It would be great since he's really striving hard right now to succeed in life.

A person's preferences really does play a vital role on what books he likes to read. You, as his girlfriend, must know what he likes and what he dislikes. But if you ask it generally, I would recommend the book 'Tuesdays with Morrie'. It is an inspirational book that changed most people's view on life, after they've read it. It's a book about a college professor's sufferings and the trials life had to give to him and how he managed to get over those obstacles, with his student, Mitch Albom, the author himself. Reading this book, you will discover how a man spends his last days with the people he cares about so much.

book taste differs each others.. some may like to read love stories, some may love reading horrors, and some may be crime lovers and some will read only computer books, so on.. so you both are avid readers??? fine.. The Case of the Left-Handed Lady by An Enola Holmes Mystery is one of the best book for avid readers. but i think it suits for kids. for you, i suggest Lady Incognito & also Fortune and Fate.. just my suggestion.. check on others as well.. Have a nice time!

Hi, i think a person's own preferences play a very vital role in choosing a book which he/she wd like to read, but I guess that "Jewel" by Danniele Steel w'd be a good one, its about a couple gone through hard tested times but still their love for each other doesn't diminish. Cheers.. & happy reading Bodhi
