Nowadays both the interviewee and interviewer are attaching more and more importance to job interview. As far as the interviewers are concerned, they tend to feel it unscientific to evaluate the competence of the interviewees by just reading their written materials, such as the application forms,self-introductions,etc.A face to face interviewing is more realiable and informative. However, many interviewees fail once and again in the job interview.I think if you can be successful in your first job interview, you must be a man with high ability. Were you successful in your first job interview?

My first job interview is in a call center and it is a total disaster for me. I was sick then and with colds when they asked us to perform a fake customer service inquiry. Since I have colds, I can't speak clearly and before the interview ended, I had a very high fever. They said I could come back after a few months to apply again but I never did. I believe that job was not meant for me because a few days after the interview, a new employer called me for a job and I have been with them ever since.

Anyway it`s not hard to get over an interview, you just have to be honest, breath normal, and think that you are talking with a friend or something but have respect, after that if they need someone like you they hire you, if not you find another job to aply on

I managed to succeed in in almost every job interview I ever had as long as I didn't really care if I wanted the job. With those jobs that I really wanted, you know, the perfect job, the dream job, though the interviews seemed to go well, somehow I must have really blown them, because those were the jobs I never got. However I have managed to stay employed.

thankfully,i have been successful in my job interviews from the first one down to the last.i have tried my luck in applying as a call-center agent in a BPO.i never expected to be successful in those interviews.i think what helped me is my mindset, that whatever happens,i got nothing to lose and at least i gave my best on that interview.right now,i am about to be interviewed once again but this time,i'm applying for a job overseas.hopefully,i'll be successful again. happy mylotting!

No, I wasn't. I was in a group interview that day, and the person asked each of us random questions. I don't feel like I answered any of them in a way that gave them any suspicion that I wasn't right for the job though. Who knows. They called me a couple days later and thanked me for coming up there but I didn't get the job. Now it's a year and a half later and I'm having the most difficult time finding a job.. It seems like nowhere is hiring right now!

Yes ,it is really difficult for us to be successful in the first interview.I share your opinions,I have took part in very few interviews. There are too many people to compete for a job,so it is not easy to get a job. Wish you find a new job. Happy mylotting.

I failed in my first interview.. I was pretty nervous and short of confidence too.. Although my first interview gave me the confidence to clear the second interview

I am not, but I almost got the job. It's just that I am very nervous that time that I had mental blocked. Knowing that, it was my first time to undergone an interview. But I just realized that that was not an excuse because I cannot be always nervous during job interviews. So I make it to the point that on my second interview, I did my best. And I did! :-)
