Which operating system do you think is the best?

Which operating system do u think is the best? Windows, linux, bsd, unix, etc?
I believe people know windows more than know the others, but I don't really think windows is the best os. I only used windows and linux(ubuntu), the stability of linux better than windows more, in my case, my box(AMD4000+, M2A-VM,2G,160G) usually crash when ran windows, but never on linux. it's amazing! But I have to say, there are a lot of applications not valid on no-windows platform.
I known from internet the most stable os is bsd series.
Do u used bsd or other os? which os do u think is the best?

yes,most of people know windows more than know the others,mybe widows is not the best one,but i only used windows in my computer for many years.many years habit,so i don't want change my habit,i will use widows for ever.

well.it all depends on your level of usage.. a casual user does not like to be bombarded with technical terms and complicated gui.. lets face it windows has the best gui amongst all the os.. but if you are a hard headed techie windows cannot quench your taste for more power and control over your system,.. nothing will be good for you until you have a go at it and personalize it for your taste...
