Did you do any shopping on BLACK Friday?

There was a whole bunch of hype going on regarding Black Friday's sales going on television. I normally don't like going shopping during the holidays, because of crowds, etc. I went to the local Walmart around 4pm in the afternoon yesterday though, and to my amazement; I found that the hype was really valid. They had an assortment of toys, games, and other things for $10, $20, $40 depending on the age, skill level, and type of toy.
For the adults they marked the electronics down significantly enough to make people want to buy. The had DVD movies in their original casing on sale for $2, $6, $9. The $6 ones were two DVD movies. Boy, it was like I was a kid in a candy store yesterday seeing all of the great prices.
I bought three Christmas gifts for my kids on yesterday. I'm waiting to see just how much cash I muster up from my online endeavors before I do anymore shopping though. This Christmas will be like no other, in terms of time off from work, and having the available funds to do everything we want to do and then some.

To describe it in one word: chaotic. I went with my brother and my friend at 5 AM in the morning. Our friend drove us to the GLendale Galleria mall, and a couple of hours into it we saw news trucks outside filming haha. Some stores at the mall were open as early as midnight on Friday, but even the late nighter as I am,even I could not stay up that long shopping without getting some rest beforehand. I could not find many things I wanted though in my disappointment that was on sale, or the ones I did find I liked, they had limited sizes which was a let down. . I wish I could still fit in the size I had a few years ago so I could've gotten some nice jeans for 12 bucks lol.
Oh well. . .just another reason to lose inches this holiday season. I hate having to shop for larger sizes.

I didn't get a chance to go shopping yesterday. I was at the airport three times and the hospital once.
I'm glad you were able to find a bunch of great deals. I wished I would have had a chance to get out there, but then again I don't have a whole lot of Christmas shopping to do.
Although, there's probably a few things that I could use myself that were probably on sale. Maybe I'll get a chance to get out and find some good deals today.

we went to walmart around noon yesterday, and it wasn'y too crowded by then. my s/o's daughter got most of her christmas shopping done, and i just wanted to pick up a few things i needed.
