I have 2 passwords I use for my emails, mylot, online banking, paypal etc... One of them is an easier one that can be cracked but I only use that one for sites that aren't holding any of my personal information. The other password I have is very intricate (its one of those I can type it no problem, but ask me to write it down on paper, its a little bit more difficult) and I use that one for my online banking, email and anything personal. How many passwords do you have? Or do you use the same password for everything? Thanks!!

ya i used to have just one password i always used, until one time in university, i had to setup an account with them and they wouldn't accept that password because it wasn't intricate and secure enough, so hence a new password was formed

i think its's best that when you create password never use your birth date or nickname, just to be safe.

I have quite a few now. For the longest time I only had two. One that was super easy that my children and I used for everything. The other was more complicated for the websites that needed more security. But over time, I have been asked to change them or add one or two numerical digits in the password that now a days I have many different combinations of basically the same idea. It is rather annoying and a lot of times I have to try out a few to log into sites that I don't go into often.

ya i can see how that can be annoying, just hope your account to whichever site you are trying to log into doesn't freeze by trying all the passwords till you get the right one! LOL thats happened to me before for trying too many times to log in. its becoming a lot more common for sites to ask for a numerical number or two in the passwords, the more security the better though!

I also have two passwords. They are almost the same but they just differ because the other one has a number on it. I used to have three. But since I resigned from work a few months ago, I didn't use that third password again which I used exclusively for work-related confidential documents.

the number in your other password makes a huge security difference, nowadays when you sign up for a new hotmail or other account, and you type in a password they have a password strength system which is good. the more numbers, letters and symbols the better they say
