What is the current fastest car in the world now? According to the internet, Guinness Book of Record, world fastest car for 2007 is SSC Ultimate Aero TT which can reach 412.28 kmph or 256.18 mph.
The 6.35 twin-turbocharged V8 SSC Aero is an American produced & manufacture by Shelby Super Car. This car cost about USD620K. Quite reasonable price for the fastest car in the world.
Now I wonder, what is the fastest car in the world today?

I think you don't need new answer. The Guinness Book of Record must have record the latest fastest car record. If there's a car faster than that one, it would be publish in the Guinness Book of Record. People always want to get their name in that book. Unless the one that you have not the newest book...
