I am a member of a few review sites and of course my lot and the amount of copying that goes on just shocks me. It clearly states in the rules of every site that it will not be tolerated but still people do it and then wonder why the get banned from the site. When you sign up for a site read the rules before you sign up. Not only is it wrong to copy it is also illegal to steal someone else's work. It is not hard to write something in your own words. If you have never heard of something then don't try to write about it. You can look up about a product to get useful info such as stats or something but never start copying and pasting. I know in ciao we all have started to pay careful attention and we have a group that all reports anyone we find that is cheating. It is easy to get caught all they have to do is enter your text in the search engine and when it pulls up an article that is the exact same as yours but written by someone else you will be caught and reported. Let's all learn to play fair and play by the rules. If you don't than you will not last long on any site. Thank You

So right!
Unfortunately too many people think that earning online is about 'cheating' and copying the work of others not just on Ciao but anywhere including here. They want and expect to get 'easy' money and then get annoyed and slam the site concerned when they get themselves banned for cheating!

You're right, of course, but you're also wasting your time. When there's money to be made there will always be people who will find the easiest way to make it. If they can't write well, or don't know enough about the topics, they know where to find material they can rip off and get paid for. It's not just on reveiw sites, either. Every single writing site I've been on, and I've been on a lot of them, has to cope with content theft. If a person gets caught and is kicked off a site, they just go to another one and do the same thing. Appeals to honesty or even legality have no influence on those people. All you can do is be alert and catch them in the act. Maybe if they're chased off enough sites they'll eventually give up, but there are always new cheaters coming along right behind them.
