have you heard of the bang bang for the nose?

we actually got the idea first from our 3 year old nephew who gets bang-banged when he gets a cold. he always has colds. i think it is his immunity, as he has allergies and has asthma. anyway, what his pulmonary specialist told the parents is to inject some salt solution into one nose hole and let the child blow his nose. the process is repeated twice in one nose hole and repeated in the other. all the hard snot is released this way. and this will have to be done as needed. when i say inject, the needle has to be removed from the syringe, and the nozzle is pointed to the nose. the patient throws his head back so that the patient will have to get all of the dose. some of the solution may spill if the nose is soooo clogged. anyway we just buy the salt solution and the syringe from the pharmacy. these are soo cheap anyway. hmmm what else...well, it is very effective. ever since we learned about it, the entire family resorts to bang=bang for clogged nose, aside from other cold remedies. would you try it too? good day and God bless you!
