Hey not many people can handle a Viper. You are talking about a lot of power and it would probably take some getting used to. I think you'd need a lot of practice to keep that baby under control. A lot more than a minute. But hey I have never driven one at all so you got a minute on me!

Ahhhh! You really have to stick with it there how2do! I have been lucky enough to drive both the SRT-10 and GTS models and I know exactly what you mean! 500+ BHP in a mid engined sports car needs handling with respect and many have succumbed (and fallen!) to the beast like properties of a Viper. The trick is to drive it PROPERLY, being gentle on the throttle out of corners and really feeling what the back of the car is doing on the way into corners. There really is a fine line between grip and massive, massive, catastrophic oversteer! Step on the accellerator too hard half way through a turn and bye bye, you're facing backwards! Treat this car as if it was a rotweiler, with kid gloves and it will reward you with one of the truly great driving experiences. That massive V10 building up to a crescendo at about 6500rpm delivering massive waves of seemingly endless torque should put a smile on anybodies face! As I said before, treat the Viper with respect and switch your concentration to the max and you could find yourself smoking round hairpins sideways before you know it. If you ever get another chance to drive one of these babies, take it, and persevere. Just DON'T... EVER...EVER...take it for a spin in the wet, that is unless, you are bored with being alive!
