I have tried into online dating but nothing happens... I had a friend who found his beloved in one of the online dating offered here in cyberspace... and we cant deny the fact the my friend isnt the only one who have done it... they live together and they're happy... but the problem is there is still and communication gap between them... they're not still open with each other... its because, they didnt knew each other very much.. we have different cultures, beliefs and attitudes... is there really a risk if you to into online dating? what do you think?

Online dating is not for everyone. I met my husband online thru a website called Plenty of Fish. We both had the same thing in mind, and that was getting married. We dated for 6 months and then got married. We have been married for 2 1/2 months now and the honeymoon has not ended. Our communication is exceptional. There are no secrets whatsoever. We communicate very well. Don't get me wrong all marriages and relationships have their ups and downs and it's all work regardless of anything but all in all I will be the first to say online dating works. My husband and I are very open with each other about everything no matter what it is. Here is the trick that my parents told me and they have been married for almost 40 years. No matter how long you are with someone you will always find out something new about your spouse. PERIOD!!! Of course there are risks with online dating. There are risks with regular dating and just meeting someone in the grocery store. There are crazy people everywhere. Online, at the library, in the store, church. The is no such thing as safe dating. It's all a risk no matter how you slice it.

there maybe risk or nope. It just depend on the ppl you will meet. My parents will always ask us not to believe much on the net ppl. And ask us not to be crazy to meet those that we don't know. My advice to you is that don't really take your risk to meet those ppl. They maybe bad that we didn't judge on them. We don't know much of their background. So just think carefully before you act. and don't let your parents to worry about you too. Good Luck.

A relationship works on how much time you give in it. It does not matter if it is an online or real relationship. Yes a long distance relationship is much more difficult. It is more difficult if there are different religions and traditions involved. © ronaldinu 2008
