I'm using Elitegroup motherboard. It's not really high end but it's working fine so i'm contented with it. It's still on AGP so my videocard is a little old because most motherboards nowadays are using PCI-E slots with DDR2 RAM slots. I'm not really a gamer so this motherboard suits me well eventhough it's old. My friend told me that Gigabyte is the best motherboard right now and it's quite expensive. Asus seems to be the bestseller right now. My friend is a game and he chose Emaxx for motherboards.

:) Emaxx is really a good MOBO and design for gamers but few are aware about this that's the reason Asus still dominate the market share.

I am using ASUS Motherboard. ASUS Motherboard is dominating in all over the market. ASUS Motherboard has very wide range of options. it has also fast functionality than others like SAMSUNG AND Intel. Intel is also a standard. I like asus motherboard i will prefer the asus motherboard beacause i use many motherboards and i knew it very well

There will be no questions if you're using an Intel MOBO and it is ASUS who dominates the market for MOBO. Happy Mylotting!

Yeah Intel is good and you can maximize the features of your processor if you are using an Intel MOBO. Thanks and have a nice day too. :)

My computer has a AMD Athlon XP processor. Is that the same as the motherboard? The brand is a Hewlett Packard computer. It has everything original since I purchased it back in 2004. Did you put a different motherboard in your computer after you bought it? Or upgrade it at a later date? My brother-in-law knows a lot about computers, and he can do stuff like that. Thank you for starting this discussion, and have a great day!

:) to change your motherboard and you want to retain you processor. Just buy a new motherboard with the same socket of what you are using. From this you don't have to purchase a new processor not unless you are going to upgrade. Thanks for the sharing!
