Ferris Bueller

I always wanted to, but my mom worked at the high school I went to. I rode to school with her too. If I skipped class the teachers would have came and asked her if I was sick and the plan would have been ruined.

Oh yes. Anybody who says that they have not played hooky from school or from work would be telling a "no no." Anyway, here is what I did many years ago while I guess if I remember correctly was during Middle School. The night before, I told my parents that I truly was not feeling well. I also said that if they said that nothing was wrong with me, then I would have to find a way to truly show them that I was sick. I said that I was going to sit in my room and hold my breath until I turned blue and make myself sick. Well, they kind of laughed and said, "You just do that. When you pass out, we will come and revive you." I just laughed and said, "I will show them." The next morning, I woke up and whammo, I was sick! Ended up with at least a 102 temperature and had the flu and was out for a couple of days including the weekend. Yea! From work, I played hooky a couple of times. I did not regret it at all because I only did this when it was a firm that I did not particularly care to work for anyway.
