The wonderful plot of Twilight

Finally, I got a chance to watch Twilight on theater last november 29. I was so impressed with its amazing story, the plot was so simple but it carries weight to the moviegoers. The extraordinary romance between bella and edward made you realized that whatever happens, there's still someonein this world who is always there for you, protecting and making you safe all the time. It was a fell good movie, an excellent respite amidst the chaos and trouble we had in this world. It feels as if we are transported to our teenage days, having someone watching you and knows that he comes like "knight in a shining armor"when troubles set in.
The movie bring back the luster of spectacular romance set in extraordinary story between two individuals who are determined to be together despite their different worlds. I don't know if many of you will agree with me, but this is one of the best romance stories that so far shown in world cinemas.

I haven't seen the movie yet but I am planning to see it this week. My friends who already watched it said that it's so beautiful, same as your review of the movie. I can't wait to watch it. I'm also planning to buy the book version of it. I really hope I can find one here in the Philippines. I think book is more detailed than the movie but still I wanna watch the movie.

u will find it hard to buy the book here in the phil. i guess try buying at gateway mall-fully booked! or in MOA-fully booked and powerbooks. the other stores got no stock..

I have not seen it yet, but have heard great things about it. Have you read any of the books - the series it is based on? I have a niece who really likes them and can't wait to see the movie. I am thinking of getting a couple for her (she has a back surgery she has to go in for this month, poor kid). Thanks for the info, makes me want to see it even more!

I've read the books, and I watched the movie. I thought it was a fun movie to watch. I mean, its not going to get any awards for acting or whatever, but it was entertaining enough that I enjoyed my two hours inside the movie theater.
I have to admit I did go in with low expectations, considering that movies based on books, don't usually turn out the way I want. Still, I feel the movie try to stick with the book plot, but made changes that is necessary for a film format. It's actually funny how some poignant scenes in the book came out slightly humorous on the film, but I'm fine with that.
I dragged a friend who has not read the books, and when the movie was over she love the film, and I have to accompany her to the bookstore to grab the book. So, I guess..the movie has its own charm.

Thank you for the review! I've been thinking about going to see Twilight, but after the disappointment of cloverfield I swore never to see a movie in the theater again. Your review gives me hope that good movies are still being made! I think I will change my stance and go see Twilight. It sounds like a wonderful movie.

it's not out til the 19th here, but I really enjoyed the books.
all the best vampire stories are love stories, not horror stories.
my school once had a word with my mum about the fact that I was reading interview with the vampire (at the sort of age where you still went into a side room and had to read to the teacher for a while in turn) and they were asking why she was letting me read a horror book. to which my mum replied that it's not a horror book, it's a love story.
which is true.

REALLY? I don't agree. I read the book before watching the movie and fell in love with the characters after the 5th chapter. I thought the movie can be improved in many ways. I'm hopeful that the second installment will be much better. I found this movie too boring for my taste. The book was by far really so much better. It's still a good story though and the characters acted well enough.

I also enjoyed Twilight, I would even go to it again if someone I knew needed a partner for a movie! lol. And you're right...it was such a simple plot, but grand at the same time.
I'll tell you what I told my sister after I saw the movie...I am sooooo jealous of Bella! lol. I want my own Edward! lol. Sexy, protective, truely good...she is lucky! Sometimes I feel like the only real good guys are in movies, but I hope I get proven wrong! lol

Where I am right now, it will be shown on 18th of December... still 3 weeks to go. :(
I've read the book though, and I really can't put it down. their chemistry is sooo.... :D
I do hope I'd see that in the movie :)

I've seen the movie last night an it was awesome. Now i know why it is very popular for it has a great story. I learn that love has no bounderies and when you are inlove you do everything to protect them even it cause your own life. I am so much inlove when i see that movie. The only thing to i dont like in the movie is i wish the edward was not a vampire so they could help happily ever after but that would be a another story. i am looking forward to see the next epesode of it.

hey, i did not watch the film but the post of yours is brilliant. thanks for bringing the plot to my knowledge jlamela. hey when did you go for the movie..? was it a first day first show.
I enjoy first day first show movies alot and to tell you the truth once this movie is released in India i will surely go for it... and yes, do post us the feedback for other new movies.
