love your enemy, can you do that?

it was said that in order to know the value of love and peace we have love our enemy, can you really do that? to tell you frankly i can't do that, that's why as much as possible i am avoiding any hates and trouble about people instead i do making friends. i mean have you done this before to love your enemy instead of hating them more?

hi mrbrownedeye! i think that in our capacity as humans it is very hard, and nearly impossible to love our enemies. but since it was the Lord who told us to do that, He also strengthens us and enables us to do so. anyway, i am currently having a problem in relation to this and I keep praying for it, because i find it really hard to forgive, so much less to love my enemy. but i don't give up hope, because God is a God of miracles. take care and God bless you!

It is very tough. I would rather say one must be very great to love the enemy. All great peopel advices so. But is it too simple?

hi mr brown actually i dont have enemy, i just hate them for hurting me .. i cant love them but i can care and be kind to them .. cheers

What's enemy?I'm still studying in university,so I can't feel the pressure from society,especially the cruel competition.In my opinion,I hate the person who hurt my heart,but many times I can calm down and think all the things related,and I find they don't meant to do it.Then I forgive and I treat them well as before.I think it's good for me to forget,then I can live better.
