Has anyone watched Brett Lee bowl in the second Test against New Zealand. He has reducded his run-up to quite a considerable extent. Why is it so? Is he tired of bowling long spells with long run ups and not even getting wickets?

yep, i have seen it. his run up was shorter than what he use to take before. in my view this might be because of two reason. the first is because he want to bowl long spells and reduce his pace to get more accuracy. he lost his line, length and zip of the track that he use to have.so, to get it back he might have reduced his pace. well, the reason might be he is returning from injury, so might not want to strain his toe.

If a person bowls continously for hours these changes are frequent. He is a nice bowler and should try his best to take wickets and succeed.

ya i did see brett lee bowling in the second test...he was off a shorter run up...it may be done to bowl a few extra overs with some extra pace....he must have done it because the slow over rate in india cost them so much....so the shortened run up may reduce the time for each over...
