I am single and I am enjoying it! I'd rather be single and happy than be with someone who won't understand me or give me problems. I guess, every person who decided to stay single have a god reason on why they chose to be single. I have friends (same age as mine) who are already married and whenever they have problems with their marital life, they are always sharing it with me. I guess this is one of the reason why I want to stay single. I value my independence so much and I want to stay that way. I hate it that when you have to decide on something that you want, you have to consult with your partner first and if he disagrees, then you'll give up what you want just for the sake of your partner. I believe that relationship is not really my thing.

I do not like to be single. I am not being anti-feminist or something but facts of life kinda push me into corners sometimes. For starters, being single and older equals wierd, you have no idea how much stress that misconception can conjure up in masses. But for an ounce of truth, I have enough being the iron lady at work. I enjoy being pampered when I am out of work. Sure having someone in your life complicates matters, there is the communication issues, the adapting issue, the man is from mars, women are from venus issues; but having someone who shares your life 24/7 is reassuring. Yes, I like to have a security blanket when things get rough. Having said that, I am still empowered to stay single, by choice.

I have always been single and it is fabulous. I am not lonely (very popular with many good friends), make intelligent choices and have all my needs met from many people. I think a lot of people enter into relationships out of insecurity and or loneliness. This is a huge mistake. Become strong and secure on your own and then look for others to complement you.

Hi balki07prithvi Is not it great being single?I think so.You do not have anyone who is going to restrict your movements. Also,I do not think I am in a age to go into a relationship right now.The sense of maturity that you should have is still not in me so better I wait for the right time. You cannot be forced into a relationship right? It just happens..............

i feel ok because i never want to be married for the hell of it, and i dont have strong feeling with anyone so to marry them. i am mostly friends with many people. being single, gives me more freedom to do what i want to do and at anytime. i have pets. i guess i will stay single and enjoy my freedom until i have strong feels for someone and ready to marry.

well, being single is all joy and fun until you reach a stage where you cannot go any further alone. You'd realize that you cannot go any more further without any support. People realize this at different levels at different stages of their lives and because of their different experiences. When you remain single for long enough, getting back on track also becomes a great problem. Being married increases your responsibilities and you have to become more committed to your life since it affects someone else also and gives you the pleasure of running into the arms of your spouse at the end of a tiring day. Being single has the advantage of having a carefree life but then after some time you feel all alone and lost in a great ocean full of strangers and you have nowhere to turn up to at the end of a long day.

Hii, i m 26 and a single. It's really depends on the situation that weather it's good to being a single or not?? Because many time when you really need someone then you might think it's better to marry and sometimes after marriage you think ohh god, i wish i can be single again...

I am newly single...24 year old.just broke up 1.5 months ago.Since I had my first relationship in high school the longest time of being single was 2 months..and now I havent had a boyfriend for 1.5 months already..really lonely although I got friends...that is not comparable as boyfriends...especially most of my friends have got someone significant in their life...I should be cuddling with my boyfriend in the couch instead of typing words like this in this site!
