Estrogen Question..

how would a high or low level of estrogen in the female body affect her menstrual cycle? would one or the other make her irregular or regular or early etc?? the reason i ask is because i read that migraines can be because of a low estrogen levels and i have migraines all the time.. yet my cycle is getting shorter.. im like a week or less early and i used to always be (before the pill and during being on the pill) a week late and when i used to be a week late i didnt have migraines often (or as often) is there any connection??
