how to over come from depress????

If a person is in depress then how to over come from that situation??? whatever the reason but if he is in fully depress means how to over come from that is there any tips from you guysss...

Best thing you can do to overcome depression is to take your mind off it and do something that you enjoy and something you're really interested in. And be honest to yourself. Just think of all the good things you have in your life, your family, your friends, you have a lot to thank about and you will soon find out that it is okay to be depressed sometimes. That's only part of our existence. That's what makes us humans. Don't you think so?

There are so many different types of medicines for depression. The person should go see an authorized physician or therapist. They will decide whether the person needs to be on medication or if therapy alone will work.

Be aware of the cause of your depression and try to be optimistic about the future. Try to be aware of your negative thoughts and replace them with positive ideas. Focus on your positive experiences. Make a weekly list of your positive accomplishments. Get socially active. Make a weekly schedule of your daily activities and do not forget to include social activities. Find a hobby or two. Exercise daily. Use self-relaxation techniques whenever you feel tense. For example, slowly breathe in and out for several minutes until your whole body feels relaxed. Do some volunteer work to keep you active. Set realistic goals. Learn to accept that everyone has different abilities and focus on your unique characteristics and positive accomplishments. Be assertive when you are expressing anger. Try to know and develop your strengths.

Exercise sometimes help. Not staying at home alone & making yourself get out around others might help. Finding ways to do anything but sitting around feeling sorry for yourself will help a lot. If you can get access to St Johns Wort, try that. 2 capsules a day will relieve that heavy feeling of uselessness. If you can deal with those feelings for a little while longer, sometimes the depression will just go away by itself. But it will come back after a little while. Depression is a chemical imbalance in the brain. You may have other ways of dealing with this in your country that I don't know of. Good luck!!!

Well I know that it might not be a good pieace of advice... When I was in depress I would like to choose someting I always enjoy when I doing so. The reason I said that it might not be a good advice is when I was not in mood, I would eat some cakes or chocolates because I like them so much. And when a guy is doing what he really like, it will shift his attention I think. Perhaps he could go out to play basketball, if it's his habbits... or just have a glass of hot milk and go to sleep...
