How to save electricity and water

Oh, my dear, It cost so much about electricty and water monthly. Well, I rent a house in a big city, so I must pay for the expense of them every month, and it is very expensive, I even can not afford them. In order to reduce the expense, the best way is that to save electricity and water. But It is easy to say like this, but hard to do it.
So anyboy whom has the best way to achieve to it?

Hi, I don't know where you are, in china, the price of electricity and water is increasing, but may not say expensive, water; RMB3.50/ton= USD0.50/ton, electricity: RMB0.80/unit, means around USD0.17/unit...
To my, my expense on water and electrity is not much, I have to work in the day time, and juse use them before I go out for work and after I come back from work. It takes me around RMB40 per month to pay for my bill about that, that's arond USD5.59/month. I have USD5.61 in my mylot accrount, already enough to pay for my bill, happy for that...
How about you?

I am in China, now. You see, I also use them at night after my work. You can not believe it I need to pay over ?150 per month. I only use them regularly. But how it takes so much money. Er....so I try to save them every time.
