I'm using Windows Vista Ultimate with Opera, I've fallen in love with the way Opera works, I hate IE bc it always runs slow, locks up the computer, it's incredible that it's the "Official" browser for Windows, seems like they ought to have quite a few more features bult into an easier-to-operate browser.

If I'm on Linux I use firefox, but when I booted window xp I use Firefox running on Sandboxie. So I don't have to worry about viruses or spyware because Sandboxie creates a container in which program can be safely launched without modifying the host's operating system. And you can always clear the sandbox when it was infected with viruses without worrying about your host operating system.

I have windows XP and I use Firefox3. I wouldn't change it for the world. I refuse to use IE (internet explorer) cause it is always making my computer freeze. MY sister have vista and has nothing but problems. It seems no matter what you use you will have some sort of problem. that is how the companies get so rich...lol

i use vista also, it is good for like home uses, but anything else it is not. internet explorer 7 is good for all uses, except large downloads.

I think Linux is coming more popular on mini laptops and also on mobile devices.

I am on an Asus eee pc 4g surf using the built in Xandros linux distro in advanced mode (the mode where you get to use the regular KDE desktop) with Firefox 2.0.11 running because it was installed, works fine for me, and I'm a bit too lazy to upgrade from it right now. This setup works pretty well for me but KDE is a bit of a resource hog on this kind of a machine especially, so when I get around to it (if that ever happens) I will try my hand at installing eeeXubuntu on this machine from a flash drive.

I'm now using Windows XP SP2 and mainly Opera 9.6, but I also use Firefox 3.4 and Internet Explorer 8 Beta 2. I also use Kubuntu in my virtual PC.

I'm using Vista and Chrome at the moment. So far I think Chrome is "alright". I miss the built in word check Firefox has and the overall versatility, but for a beta version browser my needs are being met with little of no issues. I sometimes use IE to watch tv episodes online otherwise Chrome bugs out. I love the simple appearance of Chrome and I think that is why I keep using it. That and the "most visited" feature when opening new tabs. So useful!

I use Windows XP Home Edition and two browsers, Firefox and Safari. Safari looks more elegant, but some features I see on Firefox are not yet available for Safari.

I am using Windows XP and mozilla firefox v 3.0. It is quite better than opera and internet explorer. It is secure and a resistance towards spywares and viruses. While using internet explorer 7 my browsing slow down by viruses and trojans as shown in notification area of antivirus. So i get rid of it....
