Hi! That looks very lovely indeed! The bamboo looks so three-dimensional, it's truly a work of art! Congratulations! I do love bamboo images. Did you paint from memory, or from a photo or something? Happy mylotting!

thank you so much . i really apreciate it. I had to do research to know how the bamboo is structured and how the leaves are structured but the mural is from floor to celing so it was all freehand and from memory.

It's beautiful. I wish I could paint, but I am challenged in that area, lol. My creative outlet is writing, which I really need to get back to. (I've taken a long break since hubby was diagnosed with cancer). He really wants me to start writing again, so that is on my to do list this week. I figure even if I write a little bit that will be okay. Show us again when the mural is finished, I'd love to see it. You are very talented.

thank you so much for the comment. i think some people can draw and others just cant do it. I cannot write i know that. i have no creativity when it comes to story making. And I wish i did so bad. I think that would be exciting. I think its great you have taken a break to spend more time with your husband. I hope he is feeling better and on his way to recovery soon! My grandmother survived cancer and she was in her 60's. I would love to know what you are writing about. what your style is; I will post more pictures when it is finished.

That pic is great. I write short article content for a website, but am also working on two books right now. One is an historical romance set in the goldrush of the 1800's, the other is an autobiographical piece (with some fiction thrown in). Hubby has good days and bad and is still going through chemotherapy, but it is working, so we have much to be thankful for.

That is beautifully done, and very realistic. Nice job! I sometimes wish I could paint like that. However, my talents lie elsewhere, and I am happy with that. I would like to see it finished, if you don't mind.*S*

Oh, that is very beautiful. I hope it comes out wonderfully! It is always going to be there and you are going to have to look at it, but the good thing is if you wanted to start over again you could paint over it! I would see myself doing that because I can never make up my mind!

I really like the mural it came out nice so far good colors and nicely placed. I think you would do very well in doing this professionally. Getting your name out is allot easier than you think. Just find some friends and family who want a mural painted give them the family rate and you will be surprised what comes out of it. Their friends will see it and want one and their friends, friends. Sometimes it falls like a domino effect. Good Luck Looks Great.

Thanks so much . I appreciate it. So I should show all my friends and family and see if any of them like it maybe they will ask me to do something in their house. my neighbors are very artistic and expressive in their home. .. i can see them wanting to have something different in their house. No one's come over since i started it. when its finished i'll invite some people over. I guess i'll just see what happens. It feels really good to have so many people like it so much. It makes me feel so much better.. so thanks so much everyone!!!
