How do you teach them to blow their nose? / myLot

I don't remember how old my son was when he learned to blow his nose. My daughter has a cold, but she cannot blow her nose yet. I am wanting to try and teach her how, but I am not sure how to try and teach her. She is almost 2. How do you teach them to blow their nose? How old were your kids when they learned?

I couldn't help but to respond to this, its funny because I was never taught to blow my nose, I just learned after trying and trying, I'd say I was about 10 years old before I could really blow my nose.. Good luck.

I guess I must have been one, because my parent's have a picture of me at that age, blowing my nose. Yeah, that must have been a really exciting picture to take.

I remember my mom just putting a tissue to my nose and telling me to 'blow.' And I did. I must have been a little older than that, since I can remember her telling me that. I have memories back to when I was 1 1/2, so maybe that is when I learned.
