My niece is having a bad time with her husband most of the time. Eversince he always gamble, drink and smoke in front of her. Who knows what else he is doing at her back. But the worst thing is he tells her to get out of her life a lot of times. For sure her heart is already tired of all this going on. She would just cry. Can you consider this as abuse?

well, its really an abuse to one's mind and feelings. for me, i should say, give him a chance to confront him what had he been doing to her wife, and say it straight if he really loves his wife or just a scarecrow to meet his needs. i might say, prayer is the best to fight for the hurt. leave him up to God, for sure you are rewarded. Keep Praying. GOD LOVES YOU!

For always 2 years now he's been doing that. If he is already like that since then then feel nothing is wrong with him, what are the chances that he will change? Sad to say but I doubt it.

My husband does not smoke and drink, and no gamble. I feel pity for your niece cause her husband is not a good man,I think. If the man has no any feeling with your niece, maybe departure is good for them both.Or your niece would be hurt more. The couples need to talk well about their marriage. If the husband refuses to make some changes, then it is time to consider leave him away.

I really don't know the reason why she married that guy. I already let her stay with me but she went back to live with her. I hope one day she will realize that he is not worth it. Thanks for the comment.

It's the exact definition of abuse. Your niece has been abused emotionally by her husband when he told her to get out of his life. Why did he marry you niece in the first place? He just ruined your niece's life because she could have been with a much better man than him. Gambling, drinking and smoking are some kind of disrespect for his wife. He should have thought that he's not single anymore. If it can't be solved then i guess it's best for your niece to move on without her husband.
