My neighbor's dog is really smelly!

Well, I do not know if it's because of the dog or because of the cage. My neighbor put his dog in the cage, at the back of his house. It's just next to my kitchen. I don't know how often he bathes the dog, but I seldom see him bathing the dog or cleaning the cage. Sometimes when I want to cook, I can't open the window, as it's really smelly. I don't understand why he likes keeping the dog in the cage, and doesn't make it clean. Sometimes, it's quite annoying to have inconsiderate neighbors.

i think you should talk to them on this point in a polite way. if they are smart enough they will understand or you have to cook with close window.

I really wanted to talk to them, but they are not considerate and easy-going type of people. I'm just afraid after I tell them, it'll create more troubles in future.

That's VERY nasty. Have you talked to your neighbor about the smelly dog? What did he say? Why does he not wash and/or clean the dog & cage? Have you thought about cooking some smelly food for them to smell out of your window? Have you thought of washing the dog yourself? (Probably not, it was my joke.) That's too bad about the situation, but at least you could talk to your neighbor and see if he will clean the dog & the cage. Pablo

Thanks for your suggestion, the last one is especially good! Well, I haven't talk to them about the dog before, but they are not very easy-going type of people, so I'm afraid it'll create some troubles in future. They used to bully my dog before, I really scare they would kill or poison my dog last time.

well there are many inconsiderate neighbours like the ones you have who do not give a damn whether a pet is being a nuisance to the neighbourhood or not...and i sometimes wonder who really allows people like these to keep pets int he first place.... i wouldnt allow it...imagine you have a problem with all that smell..so u can actualyl think what the animal is going through as it definately isnt clean at all and maybe having to live in a very dirty cage...which i think cdefinately comes under cruelty to animals....if you have any animal rights people near by...some local animal rights then you can call them up and tell them about the happenings in your neighbours house and explain to them how they are ill treating the dog..... and they will keep your identity under wraps.... your neighbours will not know who complained about them.... and it is your duty to save that poor animal from such tortures behaviour.... or what you could do is try talkin to them first and when it doesnt work you can call the animal rescue...but if you try talking to them first and then call the animal rescue team then they will know who has made the complaint...all the best to you and hope you make the right decision for the better of you and the poor animal too

I think you should talk to your neighbor. Advice them to bathe their dog or to clean the dog's cage. Or better yet, nicely ask your neighbor to transfer the dog to another space away from your kitchen. Godspeed...

i guess its because of the cage but you should speak it out with your neighbour i guess..!! its no use complaining on the site. speak with him and let him know the problem, only then he will realize it.
