I installed the myhpf homepage yesterday and only searched for things that I actually used such as mylot youtube and sky email, i got an email this morning saying that those searches were disallowed, wtf?! If you cannot search for that then what the hell are you allowed to search for?

When I first joined this site I too recieved a message in my first week of use saying that my days earnings were dis-allowed and if I did it again my account would be terminated. However since then a couple of months have past and I now have a payment pending which I am to recieve later this month. As to the sites you looked up I don't know why they would kick up a fuss for looking up those sites as I very often look up numerous sites all the time. I do know that they don't like you repeatedly looking up the same site several times a day though and re wording something to search for also counts as a breach. When I first joined this site I thought wow easy money and I did take advantage...but after that message I have been conducting searches sensibly and the messages have stopped. Hope this helps. It really is a good site and you may as well get paid for something you would normally do for free.

Hi Losouler. No wouldn't have said I had recieved a payout yet from them but do have a payment which is due in a couple of weeks time and have nearly qualified for my next one. Have heard both good and bad about it but think there are several versions of this site. To my knowledge those using the one that pays in pounds have been paid.

Metalchick: you mentioned earlier here on mylot, that you have already got payment from this site and that soon you will probably get the next one. can I ask you if you got this second one. because I wanted to join but to tell the truth I thought it was I scam because of these kind of delays. So may I ask: does it pay nowadays as well? Thanks.

many people say that they have been paid by it, but i think that they will scam you if they think they can get away with it.

If you read the Terms and Conditions you will see that it says that you should not use it to search for websites (as if it were the address bar). It is to be used to find information. It would be acceptable, for example to search for 'videos online' or 'discussion forum'. I would have thought that 'sky email' might have passed because it is searching for generic words (but typing 'sky.co.uk' or 'sky.com' into the search bar would probably not pass). I find that their filters are fairly flexible. To have got an email from them, I think you must have been consistently failing its tests. I occasionally use it to find the URL of web pages where I've forgotten the exact form (if I want the Post Office website, for example, I can never remember whether it's postoffice.co.uk or royalmail.com. I just type 'post office UK' and select from the list.

I've been using myhpf for a while and never had any issues as to searches being disallowed. But I do know of someone who basically sat there and did about 50 searches in 15 minutes and they were all disallowed, which I pressume was down to the searches being done purely to make money rather than any actual interest in the search results.

if you are not allowed to search these popular and decent sites then i think they want you to search adult material.
