hi all! my husband just started working in a call center and every afternoon after work, my husband drives his car. and his officemates would ride with him. we have a small car, so he has only an average of 5 passengers each time. but this time, the problem is, because the load is very heavy, we have been consuming a wee bit more fuel. anyway, well, we just consider it a help to his officemates. but what do you think about this? if you were in our position, would you ask the other guys to contribute, even it is just a small amount? i would appreciate your thoughts. take care all and God bless you! :-)

Hello spoiled311, I won't ask but I think they should know it. Last time, when my friend offered me a lift to the office, I wanted to pay her monthly but she refused to accept. So, every month I would go and looked for something to give her either food or anything that I could present her as a gift. I don't feel good to get a ride every day and not paying at all. My sister has the same problem. Her colleague just moved in next to her house and so, they went to office together. She took a cab or a bus before and of course she put aside some money for her transportation. But after my sister offered her a ride, she didn't even pay a single cent. When my sister's son can't send them, they have to take a cab and she always wait for my sister to pay! For me, that's just too much!

I think most probably your husband's friend should have put some fuel to the car or at least give some money since he is also riding with your husband. I think here most of the people used to put some fuel if they are traveling together without asking. I think the other guy should also contribute even if it is a small amount. Even when my friends and me goes for longer distances or even shorter distances together we used to share the fuel each other.
