Yes, I worked in a call center but I left. It was a challenging experience but since the pay was not that good, I left because it's not that worth for the graveyard shifts.

I had interviewed and was accepted for a job at a call center years ago but that same day I found a job at a daycare center. At the daycare I was able to take my young child with me for free so I took that job instead. So I have never worked in a call center. I'm not sure if I would like it or not. Does it get somewhat noisy with all of the others around you? I'm sure there are some people that speak very loudly and almost over shadow all of the others.

I have not ever worked in a call centre. I think, it is not an easy job and one is always supposed to be on the tenter hooks. One need to have lots and lots of patience to deal with different types of customers, thos who do not have patience find it difficult to manage, I would find it difficult to manage.

I had also worked in Call centre some years back for about 5-6 months, then I quit my job since I cannot take the work pressure anymore.I was into inbound process.I had night shift.Money was of no issue since they pay good for the job as well as they offer bonus too. However,it was really difficult for me since I also needed to go to college in those days.I got caught up between my studies and job, finally I quitted my job.Good day!

I was a telemarketer for a few months. I didn't mind it but it definitely wasn't my favorite. I didn't enjoy being threatened by almost everyone I was calling. But I ended up getting a permanent layoff around dec 5, which pissed me off. But it's not such a bad job. Although, in the end, i hate talking on the phone so much now, and I didn't make much money, nor did I ever get my commision.

I'm working in a call centre now!! LOL.. I just left my previous call centre about 8 months back and now I'm in a much professional call centre and with much better prospects. There are pros and cons with both call centres. But I'm sticking with this because for one, there's career advancement and it's a Fortune 500 company. The benefits are good, the hr is not too bad, and the best part, career advancement! Sure, there's the stress, but what I like about it is that I do not need to bring work back home. I just need to do my 8 1/2 hour shift and just finish it. Then I'm done. I do not get calls regarding meetings and things I have to do, just leaving work at work. which is what I want right now. :) Who knows, that the next year, that I'll get a promotion because I know I'm really good in my job and I'm pretty sure that I'll be able to handle things and be more responsible.

I am currently working in a Call Center as a Quality Assurance Coach, mainly assigned to monitor calls of the agents to be preventive in any errors. The job description is an everyday challenge to me and I embrace the challenges! The pay is far better than i can think of. plus, I got to learn a lot of things everyday. Couldn't ask for more...

Yes, I worked in a call center for ten years and after that I could not take it anymore. I was fortuante to find another job with in the company and I have been in this position for eight years. I think I will leave and do something else in two years. I think twenty years with the same company is enough for me.

I currently working as an Emergency call taker agent here in the Philippines. It's a special program for police assistance, rescue and Medical assistance. It's really hard at the first time to handle a calls like life threatening conditions. Some callers get mad and insult you. Some will piss off your day. But now I can used to it.
