I do not know, if it is real thing or just a thing happening by chance. For last two times, when I felt that my computer was not working as fast as it should (especially internet connection) I immediately deleted the cookies and then I re-started my computer, surprisingly my computer started working fast as usual. Is it true that the computer works slower due to cookies?

i will tell you the truth about cookies. Cookies do not slow down the PC. there are many types of cookies. Some cookies help the sites to open faster. Let us take a example. You are using mylot. the pictures will be saved to temporary folder and when you reopen the same page you visit earlier will be open faster. Some cookies are required for secure connection. like login to your e-mail account. You say that after deleting cookies and restarting computer you inhance your performance and net speed. It might be chances that another virus or trojan also go into temporary folder(it occur usually when surfing net) and after deleting cookies virus or trojan also removed. Cookies do not slow down speed. beside this if you set you setting to block cookies sites will not open. Cookies are required for running websites

cookies do not slow down the computer, but rather saves up time most of the time. a cookie is created when you visit a site and various different information is saved in the cookie, for example, let's say u choose to have a particular theme on the site that u just logged in, and if the site has the facility, a cookie will be created automatically and the changes will be saved in the cookie so the next time u log on to that site, u will have the same theme that u had previously. another example is when u chose to remember your username or password.

Thanksk for the response. However, I could not understand why sometimes some sites ask us to delete the cookies if some page is not loading fast?

Yes cookies may put impact on our pc speed on some extend but its wrong to say that every time cookies slower the speed of the pc. Well its also depends on the history option you save in you internet option. If you have too much of cookies like 1 GB to 2 GB you have check and delete them but make sure you not going to delete any use full data.
