Everyone deserves to treat themself with something nice or just have a special thing they allow themselves to maybe splurge on. For me it used to be getting pedicures and occasionaly still is. once a month or so it is nice to have someone pamper me and rub my feet/legs. But lately I have been treating myself to getting books. I am an avid reader. And I always hold back from buying too many books but now I tend to treat myself with the books alot more. What is your treat for yourself that you splure on?

hi samijo! well, most of the time, i would treat myself to eating out with my hubby. if we have money, we would go to a nice restaurant and have a nice hearty meal filled with our favorites. we love gastronomic adventures! other than these culinary outings, we also like to pamper ourselves at the spa. that way we get relaxed. there are the things i can think of that we pamper ourselves. we are not much into shopping, just food and relaxation. take care and God bless you! :-)

I don't usually treat myself to relax, that's the glory of having a boyfriend I guess - a boyfriend who likes to spoil. He brings me to a movie and a good dinner after (or before, it doesn't matter). For myself, I buy nice clothes or nice shoes. And buy salad :D Thanks for the comment on my discussion!

It is nice to have a boyfriend who spoils, yes. My boyfriend is quite nice but I think it's nice doing something for myself every so often. Just a treat to say I think I deserve something nice. Thank you for the response!!

Well, I love bubble baths, and I make sure I have enough of it to give myself some good baths. I also keep scented oils and candles to keep the bathroom smelling sweet. I have my favorite scents on hand. Don't put them on a lot, but I do when I can. I buy books when I can afford although lately, I've been swapping them and it's worked out just fine. I also hit the library too for books, music and such. I just bought myself an Ipod Classic so I can listen to music while I am out and about and at home to cut down on distractions. Once I get back to working, I plan to save up for an Amazon Kindle 2. I read a lot so I would like one and join the others in the 21st century. I may go out and eat or my boyfriend takes me out. that kind of thing.

I treat myself to a "rocky road ice cream" from Haagen Daaz. I know it seem like it's not much but for me, that is a treat already because I am trying to watch my food intake. Whenit comes to "pampering" my body, I usually go to the SPA and have everything done. Most of the time the "treatments" take the whole day. Simple things that I want to do every now and then.

The necessities - in luxury form LOL I think I don't like buying the necessities because when they all add up, they're really a lot. So treating myself is buying my personal necessities, but buying the better kind. For example, buying the brand of moisturizer that I really like instead of the more affordable product, and such :P Thanks for the response on my discussion!
