When I was younger ,we had a dear sweet old lady with a sometimes brutal and frank tongue,she was never afraid to tell you what was on her mind.Her name was Naany and she lived with her daughter and her kids,and in particular a young boy named Marlon .Now whatever the reason, some people from a nearby church was trying passionately to get her into their church and they made several attempt to recruit her ,to which she flatly refused and knowing her not in a subtly way.Nevertheless they persisted .I remember this one time Naany was able to see some of the members of the church walking purposefully towards her home before they saw her.She quickly got up and briskly walked inside (as fast as a sventy year old woman could) and closed the door.They came and called and called ,Naany was inside but pretended not to be home ,hoping they would get the message that no one was home.At that particular time Marlon was coming from his friends home and saw the church members who informed him that they wanted to speak to Naany .Marlon went inside an delivered the message to Naany who replied to him ,"Marlon tell them that I am not here !!!"Marlon took the message went outside and said "NAANY SAID TO TELL YOU THAT SHE IS NOT HERE" The church members were in stitches with laughing .They eventually left that day satisfied that they had at least gotten a good joke.
