Hello sunny. I think that it is a good idea for her house to have an solid iron door installed to prevent thieves from breaking in. Have you ever thought about this? I think that it might help.

She has iron door, but the thief can jump from the wall.

hah,if more than two thieves were caught stealing in you house at the same time ,and you found incapable of fighting with them rashly, you might hold your breath and keep still as you could to avoid their eyesight, then try you best to leave your house and hastily lock the door, and seek for an assistance by phone calls.

That's terrible for her .But I want to know why the thieves often come to her house ,it's there some reasons. If it because her house is not safe ,maybe she shoulddo something to make her house more safe .The same I think she should turn to the police for help .

If thieves come to my house I hope my dogs get a piece of them. We had a thief break in once.. this happened to be on the night my mother passed away, as I was at her house with my dogs in my car. When I finally got home that night, my roommate told me he had entered the house and found someone in it. HE says he searched her and she had nothing. but I found many thing missing and many places all trashed with stuff all over.. He let her go.. and did not call police.. grrr. she cam back the next day - unknown to me she was ransacking my van in my driveway when a friend of mine came over and pulled in the driveway she got out of my van and asked him to give me my box of checks and handed to them then started off down the street. When he rang the bell and told me what happened I got my roommate and took off after her down the street. we caught her and she had more stuff she had just taken out of my van (including a library book and a movie) she gave them back and I said I'm calling the police and dialed 911 on my cell. Then she started running down the street again. I never did recover all my stuff because they never found her again. but now there are always dogs home.. let someone try it again...

If she's come face to face with the thieves then there's no other way than to fight for her life. Unless she finds a way to run away from them. It's better than not giving a fight. But if she only see them sneaking around the house then i suggest she grab the phone and call the cops. She can also make louds noises or she can shout but that's a little bit dangerous if in case it didn't make the thieves panic a bit then for sure they'll go after your sister-in-law to prevent her from alerting neighbors. She must hide a knife or anything sharp inside her room. Or just anything that's long and hard so she can hit them anytime with it.

a alarm system would help...also she has to be more cautious and try to close all the windows and doors...also keep in touch with neighbours..also should have a phone in all the rooms so that any emergency it can be used..try to keep pepper spray handy but tell here to keep them in safe place from childrens...
