Hubby And I Will Be Gone For At Least A Week

We're going up to their old house to paint it finally. We're going to meet dad at the house and go over some things and then dad will head home to be with mom. She really needs him right now so it's best that he does go home to be with her. I just pray to God that nothing happens to her or dad while we're gone. Let me explain what has happened since I've last updated you. My dad went up to the house yesterday and my nephew had called him to let him know that he got about half of his stuff out of the house and would be there at 6am this morning to get the rest. 6am came and 6am went, no sign of my nephew. Dad finally got a hold of him and his excuse was that he had over slept. Dad went off like a time bomb!! Who could blame him?! So my nephew said he'd be there tomorrow at noon. My dad told him he better be there or his stuff would be in the yard. I sent his @ss a text message telling him it better be out tonight or hubby and I will put it in the yard. He must've called dad back and told him he'd be there at 7am to get the rest of his stuff. Oh dad was livid all day long because my nephew's stuff is in his way so he couldn't paint at all. All he could do was spackle the walls and that's it. PLUS, not only that but the promised help didn't show up yesterday. One of them was excusable but damn!! A phone call would've been nice!! Then I get a phone call from my aunt telling me some really bad news. Mom was talking to her when she got beeped in, it was one of her cousins. Mom found out that her cousin, she's so close to has been diagnoised with lung cancer and she has 3 to 6 months to live. Mom went off the deep end. She just screamed and screamed and cried like she was going to lose her darn mind. My aunt tried her best to console her and to calm her down but she couldn't. My aunt wants to be here to help out but she can't because she just had knee surgery and 4 hours away so she called me. I called mom and she sounded awful but she said she had calmed down and would be alright. I told her that I was on my way but she wouldn't hear anything of it and said she'd be fine. I didn't want to upset her anymore than she already was so I didn't go. I don't know if I did the right thing or not but I hope the hell I did. I sent my low life nephew another text message and told him his grandma had gotten some bad news and that her cousin had lung cancer and she has only 3 to 6 months to live to lighten the damned load!!!!!!!! A little while later, I get a phone call from dad saying my nephew changed the time from noon to 7am. By God he better be there or his stuff will be in the front yard!! Play with me and he'll see exactly what he'll get!!!! So we're all packed up ready to go first thing in the morning. A long 4 hour drive and then to paint all day long.... ugh!! I just pray that my shoulder holds out because we have the WHOLE dang house to paint!! Plus, on top of that, I have to take one of my cats with me because I'm afraid that my siamese cat is attacking her. I can't say for sure but I believe so so in order to protect her, she's got to come with me. Oh geeze, what an even longer trip this will be.... This has been one of the worst years of my LIFE!!!! So I'll see you guys in about a week or so!! Happy Mylotting!!
