i am a nursing student and as far as im concerned, we are required to wear wrist watches. it helps us to be conscious of time especially during duty hours and to be sure that we attend to our classes on time.

yeah, they do require us to wear one...in our school if we neglect to put our watches on especially on our duty it means we have to do an Incident Report (IR) some kind of a warning, which very much unfortunate if you happens to wrote one cause writing 3 IR's would mean expulsion...they're very strict now don't they? I'm a student nurse too...

Keeping a close eye with the time is important especially for students in universities or colleges as well as in highschool thus a wrist watch is a must-have when a student is attending his/her classes, however one can still survive going to school without it. Most of the students in my university don't have one and most of them are now relying in their cellular phones as their time keeper, I myself sometimes do rely on my cellphone to know the exact time. However as a student nurse we are required to wear wrist watches which have second hand to be used when we have our duty in taking vital signs and all that. For some it is necessary to have one but for others they just don't care if they're gonna be late in their classes or appointments, it depend on the personality of the student really.

Hi, I agreed that everybody should use for at lease a wrist watch. As a parent I bought wrist watch for all my kids. I want them to be a responsible person by using the watch. From the watch, I teach them to a responsible person, respect the time, do not delay with anything especially the studies, and many more advise. they will get matured fast.

Very few people at my school wear a wrist watch except during our IB tests in case you can't see the clock. In general though, I only know of about 5 people in any of my classes who wear a wrist watch.

In my case, wrist watches are not really required to students because we have clock in every room to keep teachers reminded on their official time and most students nowadays have cellphone and they uses the time function of it to tell time. Instead of wrist watches, I noticed that most students are wearing bracelet. Almost all of my students , girls and boys, have it.

Wrist watches is as important as the life of a student. As a student i always had my wrist watch on because it directed my life as a student. It told me when to relax and when to start my reading.Any student without a watch...watch his/her life,so disorganised.
