What is the Green guy on the Fruit of the Loom Commercials?

there is an apple.. green and purple grapes.. then a green leafy thing.. i cant think of green leafy fruit so what is he? or is he suppose to just be the leaves??

Yeah he is leaves. If you look at his outfit closely...it looks like his costume is just a bunch of leaves. And if you look at there logo there are leaves behind the fruit.

the company itself only says they are "leaves"

what the heck are gooseberries or currants?!?! lol.. seems stupid to just have him as leaves when the other ones are actual fruit but well.. the commercials arent genius anyways lol
