Where did you meet your spouse? We wanted to organise a surprise party for our pregnant colleague who is leaving at the end of the week. We agreed with the administration to keep holding her with clerical duties at the offices while we could decorate our staffroom. She was sent to the staffroom when everything was fixed. Afterwards our colleague told us how one of the assistant heads kept asking her silly questions such as where did you meet your spouse to kill the time. By the way every one of us curious to learn how they met. Anyway where did you meet your spouse? © ronaldinu 2008

I'm not married yet.. However, i have quite alot of gfs, and every way i get to know them, is a special process and none of them are the same.. haha =D After all, it's a relationship start, and of course, it has to be special.. Some can be met online, or as colleagues, as well as frenz made while working ^_^ Thus there are alot of ways to meet one's spouse ^_^ And of all the ways mentioned above, they are the ways i get to know my respective ex gfs.. haha

I have known my spouse since I had been 6 years old. He worked at the store down the road from where we lived. He was 18 when I met him. When I was twelve I had a major crush...I was ignored..When I was 16 I had changed and finally caught his attention I was married a year later. We have been married since June of 1991.

I met my boyfriend when I was out with my ex boyfriend to a music festival. Me and my ex had been having trouble in our relationship for a long time and that specific day it got at it's worst. So I decided to try and stay as happy as possible and luckily I ran into some friends or otherwise I would have been alone. One of my good friends brought along a friend of his, and that was the guy that is now my boyfriend for over 5 years. I met him there, but we were friends first before we started going out. This happened after a while as the friendship grew to become something more. I love him with all my heart © Cyberfluf 2008

First let me say that I think it really all started when I was in the car with my then, two of my friends. The guy that set us up was in the car with me and another one of my old friends talking, and the conversation of guys and me came up... so in any case... here's how it started... One day I got an email from my fiance basically saying hi, how are you? and that our mutual friend had told him to email me. I actually received the email just before the friend that set us up came to my grandparent's house asking to borrow an extension cord. I asked the friend if he had set us up, and he said yes... Later this friend tried to tell me things (and my fiance ) that were not true about one another... In any case, we started talking online, I asked him to meet me, we met, then a week later I asked him out by email. I met his parents like a week or two after I started dating him, and then a week or two after that I moved in with him... WOW, I know... But I love him.

I met my spouse in a local computer shop. I was the cashier during that time and my husband is one of the people who always comes there to play LAN games. He never approached me even he goes there everyday. Until, somebody asked my cellphone number for him.

I met my spouse at the telegraph company where were both employed. At first I looked up to him as my elder brother as he was close to my brother, who was our Assistant Manager. Aside from that he was 7 years older than me. We became best of friends. I even go to her girlfriends house just to relay whatever message he has for her as the girl's parents were very strict. When they broke up, he realized we are more compatible as we get along very well with each other. Two years after, our compatibility and closeness brought us to the altar and tie the knots...

I met my spouse in the university, during our college days. He was my seatmate for 4 years. And because of this, we got really really close. He became, and is still is, my bestfriend. he knows me inside out. He knows how I feel by just the slightest change in my tone. It may be difficult because I can't keep secrets from him now! Our friendship has evolved into something surprising and lasting. :)

I met my spouse where he works, he's a mechanic, and I had taken my mothers car in there to get new tires put on it. At the time a friend of mine worked there too, and I was talking to him in the office, and this guy kept coming in there, and standing around, he wasn't doing anything. Later, my friend asked me if I remembered the guy that worked there, I said yeah, he said well he wants to know if he can call you sometime, he wanted to know if my friend could give him my number, apparently he had been asking my friend all kinds of questions about me. My friend kept bugging me about it, he said the guy keeps asking, so I finally agreed that he could. Well two months went by and I never heard anything, I just thought well I guess he didn't want to call me after all. One day, I got a phone call from my friend, I was wondering what he was doing calling me, he said he had forgotten to give the guy the green light, I thought what? He said he just forgot to tell him, he asked if I would talk to the guy if he called me, I say I would, and the rest is history as they say. We ended up getting married, and we're happily married now.

Hi there ronaldinu. I have meet my girlfriend through a common friend. I had him as my colleague in high school and now they were colleagues in college. We were both single, and both great people so he decided to exchange our internet yahoo id's. We talked for a few days and then decided to meet, and so it all began in a park in Bucharest.

I don't think this is a silly question. As a happily married woman, I'd love talking about where I met my spouse. O met him in the school. He was my classmate in high school and we were stiff competitors in the highest honors in the class. I was looking at him as an opponent to the throne. Ha!ha!ha! I never really liked him. I, in fact never taught I would fall for him for he was so shy and would not even look straight to my eyes when we would talk. But he was brainy and I was really threatened. But I was so happy that he was unsuccessful in getting my place in the honor roll and settled to a lower one. Hardly did I know that after 10 years he would be a very good looking young man that every woman would desire. In a class reunion after 10 years we met again and though I never really showed I fell for him. I was so happy that after some weeks, he visited me at home along with some of our classmates. That was the start of a short courtship. Of course I knew all along I love him so why make the courtship long? I accepted his proposal one month after and after 7 months we tied the knot which was graced by all our classmates and friends. It was a grand and memorable wedding. Ohhhhh! Thank you friend for giving me the chance to reminisce those good old memories!

I met mine at a wedding. My colleague's son was getting married and I didn't have a partner - so my colleague said she'd sit me next to her nephew, who was also going to the wedding without a partner. And that was that!
