Which do you prefer to give to a beggar, money or food?

A job if that's possible. I'd rather give them food if I had some, but if I don't I try to gauge how much they need the money. I don't like giving to those who have able bodies because that only feeds the cycle, it would be best if they find a job - easier said than done, it's not like there are open jobs for homeless people... We have a lot of them in our area. I buy books of certificates for McDonalds and Wendy's and give them to them. They can't do anything with them but spend them at the restaraunt so I keep a book in my car and give them to the ones I see standing by the stop signs. I have also given food too.
