Are we really safe in the internet? Most of us reli on the internet as our vault were most of our secrets or identities are kept like for instance we register on myspace, friendster, & all those community websites where it requires your name and addresses and most of us just gave all of that informations without thinking who might view that information., I'm thinking we are vulnerable in the internet.. unless you do something to avoid it...

I agree, I think we're very vulnerable on the Internet. I'm not sure if we're able to browse the Internet anonymously - but most of the time we're not. Others know our name, can see our IP address, and know where we come from. I don't think this is such a risk though (a very slight one), because many other people provide the same information. Sometimes though, people give even more personal information, and this is where the risky part comes in. They make their address visible on the Internet, put up their picture where everyone can see it, and even easily give their last name. It's not hard for a random person to find this information and then track down the exact place you live. As active users of the Internet, I don't think we can eliminate these risks completely because I doubt that we can ever be completely anonymous. However, we can take caution and make sure that we don't give any information that's too personal, and that could lead to trouble.
