I think the right age to start dating is High School... But then again I believe this because I think a High School student may be a little more responsible with their time. Knowing when to study and when to date, also if children do not date till HS age it helps from having a million 12 year old pregnant girls walking around. But that is just my opinion.. Have a great day.

I totally agree. I would probably say sophomore in high school because you have your plan set out of when you do things and are pretty organized. I feel that may be the best time to start dating, in my opinion.

Gee, deciding when the right age is to start dating is like trying to figure out whether the chicken or egg came first - there's no definite answer. Maturity is relative and hits you at different ages, really. So whilst some are mature enough at 16 and can therefore be trusted to carry themselves well whislt dating, others may not be until the age of 18. Or maybe some grow up more quickly than others. And don't even get me started about when people are old enough to realize what true love is when it comes to dating...:P That said, however, I don't really have a firm view about when the appropriate age is, although I do believe that people shouldn't date too young. (Imagine an 11 year old "couple" fighting about Scrabble over Nickelodeon on the 2nd "date"!) For those who want to date in high school, feel free to, although if they can't balance it out with life in general - then that's their problem. For those who want to wait, that's OK as well - in fact, I think those who wait till uni to date should consider themselves lucky that they haven't been through all the drama that comes with dating.
