How to increase refferers?

I wish I knew! I have told family and friends about certain sites. I have gotten a few referrals that way. It seems like it is very hard to get referrals. I think sites like this help.

I use a collection of free traffic exchanges, free downline builders, free safelists, banner and text links, signature links for my emails and forum posts, blogs and webpages to promote the sites I want referrals for. It depends on the site I'm promoting, but all of these options are free and they work. Trying to get family and friends to join under you so you make more money rarely works so I started promoting my links at sites that have members interested in make extra money opportunities. In some sites I may only have a few referrals, but in others I have over 500. Some sites have more refs than others since I have been able to provide the payout proofs for many of them. The more I start making, the more I promote them. If I haven't been paid yet, I don't promote as much and therefore have fewer refs.
