Do you think Yuvraj is the best replacement for Saurav Ganguly?

With the Saurav Ganguly position left vacant, whom do you think should play in his position for the Indian team? Is Yuvraj Singh ready for Test cricket? His ability to play swing and spin has always been questioned. Do you still feel that he is the best option to play in Saurav's position?

At the moment he is the right person to replace Saurav. About his credibality, we need to wait and watch how he performs in the Test arena. I am sure that with is recent success in one day internationals and with is form he is going to bring flying colours to Indian cricket in both forms of the game.

I hope he return back to test cricket and ODI cricket and I am waiting for him to play cricket. I think Yuvi is one of the best player team India had produced and he single handedly won lots of matches for India.

I think it is too early to decide if Yuvraj is replacement for Saurav Ganguly. I would not say 100% Yes because Yuvraj is a very good one day player, but again handling test matches is different. He needs a lot of play to expose his talent in test matches.

I didn't agree with Yuvraj is replacement for Saurav Ganguly. Saurav Ganguly is a good cricketer. And he is a good all-rounder in Indian team.

At some point yes. Yuvraj will be the better replacement for Ganguly. But I also don't think Ganguly himself have that good record in test matches. He has an excellent records and figures in ODI matches. So considering the fact that Yuvraj is an inexperienced player in test match and Ganguly was being only an average batsman in test matches, I think Yuvraj Singh and Ganguly will all be the same to compare as far as test cricket goes. But who knows, Yuvraj may even come good than Ganguly. Also I think Yuvraj Singh left arm slow bowling would be a lot more effective than Ganguly's medium pace bowling. Also I think Yuvraj Sing is with no doubt a better fielder than Ganguly. . So I think Yuvraj will be more than a right person to replace Ganguly.

Yuvraj Singh is a replacement for Ganguly in tests up to an extent if you only think of replacing left hand batsman with left. But we will have to understand that VVS Laxman indeed replaced Ganguly's No.5 spot in test matches. Remember, Ganguly was at that spot in test matches and Laxman use to come at NO.6 and after Ganguly quit, Laxman started to come at No. 5. So I think we should in fact be thinking replacement for Laxman at No.6 spot instead of replacement for Ganguly at No.5 spot. And as of now, I think, Virat Kholi justifies that place.

I think yes, Yuvvi is the only player who can replace the Saurabh Ganguly at current form. No one can take a risk to put Yuvvi on a bench, when he is in his top form. Another candidate is i think, Badrinath. He is having a good domestic experience. But he dont have a experience at international level. As The test match is a quality game, u cant do experiments very often. You will always use your very strong cards at every time. N i think Yuvvraj is very very much stronger than Badrinath right now. So, at the current situation, Yuvvraj is the right candidate for the vacant seat of Ganguly. Neways, We all will miss u "DADA"...
