Do you wonder if what you're wearing is still in style? Or do you wonder if you have real fashion sense? Well a Fashionista is a term which became very popular in our place especially in the metro/city, they are the individual or group of people who are very much updated with fashion trends locally and internationally, and they surely knows everything about it because it is seen on how they dress (fashionably contoured) and sometimes on how they speak and how they act. But you don't have to be rich and famous and gadget geek to be aware of what's happening in the world of fashion and be called a Fashionista. For one I consider myself a fashionista cause even though what I wear are not mostly branded and flashy I see to it that I carry each wardrobe with stlye, confidence and elegance. So are you one of us...

I know how to mix and match
but I don't really follow style and fashion
plus I like wearing jeans and shirts mostly

You may say that you are not, but I think we have our own sense of fashion and how we carry it makes us a certified fashionista in our own way.
Even a simple wear like shirt and jeans can be in style when you carry them in an appropriate way.
Attitude is mostly what makes you one of us. And I think you are.
Have a nice day! :)

I'm not fashionista. Long time, I did not know what means that to be a fashionista, but then, because I work in an industry has a glitter glaze, I had to put up my language props and shove another word in passive area of my vocabulary.
I wear fashion disinterest as a defect that I learned to accept it. In silence, a little embarrassed, more indifferent. I admire those who are able to recite whenever your current trends of the season, but even if you listen with interest, found that fail to retain anything of what I learned from them. I need more rehearsal - so, about seven, as the pedagogy book - only until I is given the chance to hear the same information again, change the season and with it, trends.
But definitely, I look with a touch of envy and respect the ladies dressed very elegant and very modern, especially if you have invested fortunes in their appearance. I find it absolutely fabulous to know how to combine the clothes, so, that all should be enticing, assorted, cool and make you look as slim as possible. But being fashionista is little more than to have taste in clothes and eyes when you fit stylist outfits. Means to be passionate about fashion and her latest invention. Means to be a collector and silk fabrics, lines and cuts, labels and brands in order to place them with pride, and in the closet and your reputation. It's about making your savings to buy expensive clothes and to utter the word fashion with lust, with aplomb, with a desire to learn more and more ...
I am not a fashionista. And if, by a freak, I'd become overnight, I would probably wear it as a new defect hooby I learned to accept it. In silence, less indifferent, more embarrassed. But I do not happen to me like that.
