Do you wear casually or formally at work?

My current job requires us to wear really formal, as it's a professional firm, and some colleagues always need to meet up with clients, so we have a proper dress code. My previous company doesn't require us to wear formally, we can wear t-shirts and jeans to work. It's more comfortable wearing casually at work. How about you? Do you need to wear formally at work? Which one do you prefer?

We were allowed casual wear on weekends so I used to be formal the other days and casual during weekends.. I prefer casuals.. They look good on me compared to formals,,,

I work from home doing a telpehone job so i just wear what ever I choose to wear, sometimes if I don't have to go outside I don't bother to get dressed at all. Could job I don't work from a tv phone. Other jobs that I have had in the past apart from being a nurse when I had to wear a uniform I have been very lucky and have always been able to wear casual clothes

It's so nice that you got a work from home job, you can always have your own freedom, right? You don't need to iron your clothes, prepare what you are going to wear to work. ^_^

Yeah, I get what you mean. I did wear a bit formal by wearing shirt and skirt/pants to work in my previous job though we can wear jeans and t-shirts, I just wanted to be more presentable at work. But if there's no restriction, at least we can wear a little more casual.

My current job isn't strict with the clothes we were for as long as you look nice and you don't use clothes that see your skin (you know what I mean).. I used to wear slacks and blouse or polo blouse from Monday to Thursday then during Friday and Saturday, I used to wear blouse or shirt and long pants... I am comfortable with this kind of dress code than using formal attire.. i just really hate wearing skirt because I am not confident to show my legs.. I also hate to wear skirt since I commute everyday and guys are so mean to those girl who wear skirt.. And it really don't makes me comfortable walking with a skirt..

It's nice that you don't have any restriction on the dress code, so you can always wear what makes you more comfortable. ^_^ I understand some guys like to comment on girls who wear skirts, but they do comment if the girls wear pants too. I actually prefer to wear skirts, as I don't look nice in wearing long pants, or I'm quite difficult to get a pair of pants that suit me, except for jeans.

In my job a sa property manager I am on the grounds inspecting drains or gardens for a oart of the day. I out myself in a uniform that consists of black three quarter pants and white polo T shirts. I wear open toed sandals too! This makes it very easy on my pocket to dress for work and it is suitable for being ont he grounds. I am not into power suits and high heels in this job (thank God). I am a relaxed kind of person. If I have a board meeting then I will dress more formally but ohterwise? Forget it!

It's good if you don't have any restriction on the dress code, then you can wear whatever you like. ^_^ I used to wear shirt and skirt in my previous company, though we are allowed to wear casually. I just think it's more presentable to wear like that. Sometimes, I wore jeans and shirt too.
