Where to ADVERTISE?

I am a web designer, specializing in making logos/banners/buttons, but I do not know where to advertise for free. I do not want to spend money on advertising, since I am considerably new to this field, and am imterested in advertising on small scale, and for free.
I can also exchange-advertise (you advertise my stuff on your site, I advertise yours on mine), but where could I find such people?

There are plenty of people who like making exchanges. I am sure if you did a basic search you could find a few forums specializing in this.
Also, I recommend joining a few traffic exchanges. You can get plenty of free traffic for just a few hours of surfing each week. You might even want to try talking to the traffic exchange owners to see if they can offer any sources, advice, or business for you.
