Revenge or salvation? (Jigoku Shoujo discussion)

Hello myLot. In a world full of love, hate, and everything in between, many people will do anything to get what they want or get rid of anyone or anything that would get in their goals. In the anime Jigoku Shoujo, there exists a website called Hell Correspondence. It can only be accessed at midnight and can only be visited if you truly wish to send someone to Hell with all of your heart. You type the name of the person you feel deserve to literally to go straight to Hell while they are still alive, whether its because they've did someone inexcuseable to you, someone close to you, or maybe you're just jealous because they've gotten the attention of the crush you've had for years. .Enma Ai, the Hell Girl appears before you, and gives you a straw doll. She tells you the rules of your contract, that if you truly wish to send your antagonist to Hell, all you would have to do is pull the string that is tied around the doll's neck and your revenge shall be fulfilled. However, as you are about to pull the string, she tells you the other condition of the contract which stops you in your tracks to think about whether revenge is worth it or not. The other condition being that you shall also be cursed and go to Hell once your natural life is over after she ferries your antagonist to Hell alive, body and soul. So. . .that said. A hypothetical situation. If Enma Ai WAS real or someone like her was real, and you had to pick getting revenge on someone no matter how big or bad, or waiting for karma to kick in till it kicked your antagonist's butt, what would you pick? For me, it would be a very hard decision and it would depend on the magnitude of whatever the person wronged me did. I'm not a very religious person but I thought this was an interesting concept and I'm very much a fan of this anime (:.
