Middlesbrough striker Mido has blamed the Football Association for the Islamophobic chanting which has been directed at him for the second year in a row while playing against Newcastle. How do you think that racism can be stopped?

Racism can never be stopped.. It's all in one's mind, and as long as one is biased in their thinking, alot of things can happen and influence the others very easily.. It all boils down to one thing, Supremacy..
Those racist, thinks that the whites are always the most powerful of all, and that they wont fall, and nobody can overtake them.. Thus, they become overconfident, an thinks that those are not white, does not deserve to be in that country, or even doesn't deserve to be in this world at all..
I guess it's just too bad, an if racism can be stopped or controlled, it would have been stopped many yrs ago..

Well, by fining who ever does it. After a few hefty fines or jail time,I am sure it would grind to a halt eventually.

Racism can't be stopped. It is in human nature to discriminate those that are different from the majority.
I think really harsh fines can be enforced to the ones that make racist declarations in public. Maybe some matches without fans for Newcastle will make them more careful to what fans they allow inside the stadium.

Hi ronaldinu,
I don't think racism will ever be stamp out, but I do think that this country is multi-cultre country, all school should be thought how not to be racist, it should taught from primary schools upward, we should not have this kind of thing in this day and age, why can't we live together without racisim? and be happy, we are all the same.
